Pros

Open work environment makes all employees, at any level, accessible and willing to engage. Company has a new CEO which brings a renewed energy to the organization. Lots of opportunities to grow and develop your career. Lots of room to test new processes and develop new initiatives. Lots of internal learning and development opportunities.

Cons

Less diversity company-wide and across senior management, but new CEO is expanding leadership and making diversity a priority.

Each employee’s experience is important to us, and we’re sorry you had a bad one. We aim to hire the right people in the right roles, and we are focused on doing better in this regard. Metrics can serve an important function, as they do for many best-in-class companies. We are working to strike the right balance. We’re sorry it didn’t work out for you here but wish you success in your next role.

Pros

Spent two years at GLG. Access to exciting projects and great opportunity to learn about a wide variety of topics and industries. Great place for self-starters and to learn discipline of how a workplace functions. Benefits, work/life balance are good.

Cons

Projects / progress can often move slowly due to heavy focus on compliance, and multiple departments being involved. Certain departments can be rigid as well
