Pros

If you're a hard worker and have more than half a brain, you will not have any of the issues listed by the haters here on GlassDoor who failed at doing a good job and are now seeking a fleeting moment of revenge that only a scathing, biased, and anonymous review can offer. Some of the best pros to working at GLG are: -free food, amazing/award winning office space in the middle of downtown, quarterly happy hours, & 2 free coffee bars -internal mobility opportunities to 16 worldwide offices -yearly evaluations and employee engagement surveys for which the feedback received is regarded heavily and actioned upon by higher management -young and engaged staff who are some of the brightest Austin has to offer -access to the vast GLG Library -countless opportunist for personal and professional development (e.g. learning seminars where they bring in professionals from Fidelity and Bank of America to teach you about 401K planning, buying a house for the first time, etc (which is very helpful for those who did not obtain a business degree).) -they provide you with your own touch screen Surface Pro, giving you the ability to work from home if you are sick or have to go on leave for family or health issues

Cons

-wait-list for the parking garage is 3+ years long -the facilities team will throw (literally throw) all of your stuff into a giant box if you leave it out on your desk at the Austin office. Not even your mouse pad is safe!!

Start up culture yields growing pains, and change - which is not well received by everyone Difficult to quantify performance in a non-quota / numbers role Perception heavy type of work environment
