Pros

Technology, good problems to solve, and hey they have a 401(k) too. And you get Medical benefits.

Cons

They don't train you on burnout. The phrase "Believe you me, I gave at GE" applies. They don't care about your stress level. Typical HR revolving door, 12 months in and out. That facility in Evendale is not enjoyable, it's an ugly area. They work their people too hard. If you're dedicated, then your work/life balance is out the window. What good is retirement savings if you aren't around to enjoy it?

Expect more if you work hard, but there is no reward. Rewards go to those in the social circle.

Pros

Wages are adequate but you are basically stuck for years at a time with little increase.

Cons

Poorly organized. Poor management. Poor communication. Promotions are only for young, fresh out of college types. Management unable / unwilling to do their jobs. No leadership skills.

Cons

If you are not a leadership program graduate (i.e. OMLP, EDP, etc), you have little chance of advancement Lack of accountability. Business will create roles for poor performing employees in lieu of letting them go. Their work is then given to others Lack of personnel to support business- See previous point Training is all online and is mostly to check the box More focus on power point files than substance Health benefits continue to be reduced When users are reading reviews on this site from interns consider they are only onsite for 2 - 3 months. Ultimately they are only given projects that won't impact the business adversely if they fail. They don't have to live with the decisions they make. New plant manager every 2 - 3 years
