Can learn a lot but stress is significant because leadership is mostly worried about managing their careers. HR is not your friend and will take down if they don't like you

Cons

Managers are promoted because they are someone's favorite not on ability. Very frustrating when your manager doesn't know how to lead a team and doesn't understand some of the details of your job

Pros

Important safety critical work and you get to learn a lot (depending who your work under). It's a good jump start to your career.

Cons

It became increasingly obvious that the company doesn't care about its employees. The healthcare kept getting worse, time off became permissive from a set number, and they continually give customers unrealistic goals and expect you to work 80 hour weeks to make up for the project managers incompetent bidding.

A company people would do almost anything to get a job at. If lucky, your manager will have people's skills but in most cases your manager will be cold and demonstrate no appreciation for your work.

Cons

GE is listed as a company that matches employee gifts to Planned Parenthood. A company that promotes killing of babies could be very unfair to employees. HR does not care about employees success.
