      Pros

      Great support from pod leader and sales director . Salary good but commission is superb . Big earnings especially when targets hit

      Cons

      It's not easy and it takes a lot of effort and patience to book deals . Training week was good

      Thank you for your honest feedback. You are correct in that the start of the journey is challenging as with any sales based role. However with patience, perseverance, drive and passion the rewards are endless and you can genuinely have an incredibly successful and fruitful career with GDS.

      A serious opportunity for those that want success...

      Pros

      The sense of teamwork, support and friendship is like no other! BUT... this workplace is a serious sales operation. Like all the other serious global sales organisations that exist. If you think that pretending to work, brushing things under the carpet and blagging it will do the job then this is not the place for you. If you are prepared to work hard, further your opportunities and be a genuine sales executive (as with all the other global serious and highly paid focussed executives) then this is your chance. There is no reason (bar yourself) why you will not earn £45,000 to £100,000 pa. The door to success is labelled PUSH so go ahead and push.

      Cons

      Cons are what you make it, you can whine about anything in work or life. The glass will be always 1/2 empty not 1/2 full. 8:30am - 5:00pm great and works well, with lots of special bonus events, fun and rewards. Look good and feel good suited and smart, works well. The stories on this forum - you have to laugh at! THINK ABOUT IT... IF YOU FAIL DUE TO YOUR OWN LACK OF FOCUS OR DRIVE - THEN YOU WON'T BLAME YOURSELF, IT'S EVERYONE ELSES FAULT ISN'T IT? This is a vibrant, young and progressive organisation with all that goes with it. Embrace like many others, win iPads, Cash and trips... everyone else does.

      Pros

      Such a great environment to work in, I have worked in a number of performance led organisations in the past but GDS is optimised for success. 3 great locations for their offices, fantastic opportunity for career progression and highly compensated for good work. My personal mentor and now Director of MTB Delegates S.R. is a pleasure to work with and always has her teams best interest at heart.

      Cons

      Very high pressure, I personally thrive in that environment but it is not for everyone.
