      Pros

      It's a good solid position for someone young and inexperienced to learn about sales. The company environment is very fast paced and they are almost always hiring new sales associates. Job skills required are to be friendly, outgoing, talkative and hardworking.

      Cons

      Forever 21 sets the bar very high and if your department is underperforming in terms of sales it will hit the employees. It seemed as if management was more concerned about making money than taking care of its employees and fostering a positive work environment. I worked part time as i was attending school also, and they would regularly schedule me on days I had class, even those I had requested those days off.

      Pros

      Some friendly co-workers. Great place to work if you love organizing and fixing things for hours on end. Also great for dealing with unintelligent, difficult customers.

      Cons

      Wouldn't even give them 1 star for anything. Have been with this company since I graduated high school as my first job and it has been a terrible experience. Bad quality clothing, clothing made in sweatshops, absolutely rude customers, messy shoppers, incompetent management, lazy sales associates, no appreciation for anything you do and no movement up in the company. You wouldn't want to move up anyways because you are overworked and very underpaid. Then when corporate comes to visit they just complain, complain, complain and give you unrealistic goals to finish. I would honestly love to see forever 21 shut down completely.

      Pros

      It's a very fast paced company that runs lean. As a result, you will learn a lot. If you have the right attitude, you can truly advance, build our resume, and become extremely marketable if you decide to leave. The environment can be fun, and you will meet some tremendous people here. Also, $3 lunches are unbeatable.

      Cons

      Since the company runs lean, you find yourself working the jobs of 2-3 people. Also, a lot of employees are entry level. While this can be fun, it is also tough because turnover will be high (no one stays at their first or second job out of college) and younger employees are sometimes thrown into jobs/advance to positions that they are unqualified for. All of this makes for an inefficient environment that can create more work for you. Pay is also below market, so people tend to jump fast.
