Pros

you get money ( a dismal 7.50 an hour), You meet cool people who will all join together in looking for work somewhere else! I quit over 2 weeks ago so I no longer work there

Cons

there is no room to grow in forever 21 1: cashiering is a "promotion" but you still get the $7.50 a sales associate makes. Note: you get all the responsibilities of a cashier. 2:The managers( there are about 5 or 6) don't communicate well with each other one says " take it down " an another is right behind her saying " what are you doing put it back up!". They are rude and condescending, the main manager... well lest just say you see her once in a blue moon and all she does is complain. 3: a lady was laid off because she was pregnant and couldn't be walking around with boxes. 4: they always muck up on schedules because they don't pay attention to the availability you placed on your application. 5: there is only one schedule binder and over 300 active employees. If they even have it out on time or they can even find it its takes years to be able to get in line to copy it down. 6: you stay late at closing because even if your not done with your section you have to stay and help in a section that you don't even know.. but you don't get paid over time. They tell you to clock out and in so its "the next work day" & you get 30 min lunch brake and the food court is literally at the other end of the mall, 1-4 min to clock out if a managers not using the one of the only 2 computers you can use to clock out and in. 8.45 min walk to the food court, 7 min in line to order and wait for food 8.45 min to walk back now how much time do you have to actually rest and eat? yeah not much of a break. Oh also you have to clock out at brakes. cheap asses 7: the brake room in stocked with boxes and you can't properly find a place to sit and eat your meal even if you took your lunch from home or not. 9:the fact that this job sucked even more than working at the palm tree nursery and I took the time to write this speaks volume's of how crap it is to work there there are a lot of other sucky things but I just don't want to write more and don't even get me started on all the labor laws they break.Io!

Pros

Long story short . Forever 21 is different from store to store , it depends on that store's management & how store procedures are pursued. This one in particular follows the companies policies to the T , therefore this store was perfect in regards to professionalim. Employees treated greatly , hard work & good work is always praised and recognized , incentives for good employees, Customer Service is always enforced & always provided actually our customer service is above and beyond . Unlike other Forever21 where the employees lack customer recognition and or service . We actually do what are title expects of us Sale & provide customer service. Every shift is an encouraging overview of each employees expectation & task , target & goal . The store is organized & rarely messy . Aways recovered & we have a LARGE STORE. let's just say visiting other stores , i learned that my store is the best. Stores that we're alot smaller , we're over staffed , which for an over staffed store with few employees you'd expect pure perfection & customer service . No. stores are a complete mess & customers go un-recognized when in our store 4 employees in our LARGE store can maintain a clean store , great customer service & complete tasks throughout the store..so basically it depends on the store's managment & professionalism. Oh & the way they do things.

Cons

Survival of the Fittest. This a very demanding job. It's not just another job it's more like a career move. If you just want a job , Forever 21 is not the place to go , this is a long term comittment type atmosphere

Pros

I can't really think of any 'best' reasons to work at Forever 21. The only thing I really enjoyed about working there is working around the clothes, which is one of the first reasons I applied. I'm only 19, so I knew it wouldn't be a career. I just needed to make some extra cash. I got to meet new people and learn what sales was really like, which has led me to the job I have now which is SO much better! Working there felt like boot camp in a way, I learned a lot of stuff the hard way because I went through so much crap working there. There aren't many pros about Forever 21. Sorry if you were expecting some, but I really can't think of one dang thing.

Cons

-The discount is horrible. -Your hours get cut for absolutely no reason at all. I didn't have hours for almost 5 months one time. -The management doesn't pay attention to your availability, I got scheduled during school multiple times. -I basically never received any respect or praise when I would work my butt off trying to stand out and do a good job. -They don't ask you to work overtime, they force you to do it. I worked a 2 to midnight shift once. I felt like a prisoner, I couldn't even leave without getting in trouble. -Most of the managers are really young, so they don't even know how to actually run a decent business. -They talk to down to you and act like you're a completely inexperienced person. -When you want to shop, you have to get walked into the fitting rooms, and a manager has to ring you up. Then they have to walk you out and check your bag, it's truly time consuming. -This isn't very important, but they play the same music oovverr and over again! I used to get headaches from the pounding techno.
