Pros

seeded shoes (if you're full time). That's it.

Cons

the worst case of micromanagement I've ever seen. This place is a revolving door for employees because nobody can put up with (nor should anybody have to) with their insane policies and terrible ownership. If you are granted a secondary position, don't be fooled you are just a glorified retail worker. There is no opportunity to advance your career unless you want to join the soul sucking management team. You will be underpaid and over worked, stay away from this job at all costs.

Pros

If you want free shoes, apparel, and a slice of ignorance, go work at this place. The only flame embedded into this franchise are the amazing staff that the leadership abuses and under compensates.

Cons

I expected better from a company that I was loyal to for three years, yet nothing of this nature existed in Fleet Feet Orlando. I have never experienced worse ownership in my entire three years apart of the company, which also included Fleet Feet Sacramento and Rancho Cucamonga. Poor leadership and poor management operate Fleet Feet Orlando, which created a toxic work-place environment where colleagues had no voice and no compensation. In my short 7 months of working for Fleet Feet Orlando, I was not only berated in front of customers by ownership, but was also misguided to train new hires and scolded for not having clear direction . Not only do the owners pick favorites, but proved time and time again that if you have an innovated idea, you should stay silent. I would not work for this franchise and would not recommend this place to anyone. Go work at Track Shack or Fit 2 Run before you work for this franchise. The ownership and shoe buyer does not want you to succeed, they merely want you to be a pawn in their scheme.

Pros

It used to be amazing, I kept hoping it would be like that again, but it never got close. Perks though.. sales reps are super nice The store is really big You can have as many hours as you want, bc everyone else left Sometimes you get free shoes from the shoe donation bin.

Cons

I worked here on an off for close to two years. If you’re taking a job here, these are some things you should take into consideration. No lunch breaks When they have sales competitions between employees and you win, don’t expect them to actually follow through on giving you what they said they would. Happened to me more than once. This brings down the entire energy of the team, and I’ve seen one by one- everyone quit and leave. A boss with a hot and cold personality. Called out sick literally *one* time in two years and they took away my “sales bonus”- I put it in quotes because nobody ever got them anyway. If you want to get this job to be a part of the running community, everything is scheduled while you’re working, so don’t bother, just run on your own. You won’t be valued as an employee unless you dedicate every living breathing moment to working at a retail shoe store. Idk anyone that does that for sometimes less than $10 an hour. Especially when you hire people in school that have other priorities. One manager actually does dedicate his life to his job and it doesn’t seem like he’s even valued. Never step in the owners way when he’s on his fits of rage. The owner even almost ruined my chances to get an apartment and start my career in a new state just because of his anger issues. So.. I’m writing this review because I’m finally cutting ties with this toxic environment. Maybe things will change because of this, maybe not.
