Pros

Flexibility to get the work done when and where appropriate Casual dress Many smart, hard-working but friendly and fun colleagues

Cons

Lack of transparency from C suite and upper echelon of leaders Publicly traded so regardless what is said, employees come last after stockholders and then clients First Data was “acquired” by Fiserv however we all saw the writing on the wall - the Fiserv CEO is moving on and First Data’s CEO is now taking over - Frank has a great history of making money for shareholders, but the employees suffer as could be seen in the culture as we tried to merge as one company - First Data people (many but not all) played politics, would backstab and do whatever was necessary to “get ahead”. Fiserv’s benefits were fair but we were told one of Frank’s first moves at FD was to reduce or eliminate the 401k match and remote work wasn’t allowed at all

Pros

Only the friends I have made.

Cons

Frank Bisigjnano is single handedly ruining Fiserv. He ruined First Data, destroyed all the culture and kept technologies in the stone ages and is now doing it with Fiserv. Mr. Yabuki is doing nothing visible to preserve this company. As long as Frank Bisignano is involved with Fiserv DO NOT COME TO WORK HERE.

Pros

Really can't think of one.

Cons

New policy from upper management is to fire you if you refuse to move to the city where your boss is - typically Omaha. They're losing all of their talented people but are not replacing them, just piling their work on top of the already overloaded people who are left. No work-life balance. You're expected to do changes between midnight and 5am every night, then show up at the office the next morning. And your badge swipes will be checked to be sure you stay at the office for the full 8 hours
