Pros

Great company outlook, has good training, good people to work for and with. Money can be great, but depends on where you live. Positive people

Cons

Their strategy is for you to buy expensive leads to get alot of appointments to set. Downside is you better be setting those leads and closing your deals, to be able to pay for leads that run $2000-4000. month if you want to make big money. You also may have to buy many counties that make you run far away to get the leads. No benefits at all. Your money, your deal

Due to the fact that this review is anonymous we have no way to know if this individual did indeed work with FFL and what their lead strategy was. At Family First Life we have a tierd lead program, depending on the agents comp leads will be subsidised or paid for by FFL, some agents prefer to buy their own leads. Agents that buy their own leads can pay anywhere from $100 a week to $1,000 a week. Any agent that purchases $1,000 a week in leads also produces at a high amount, $20,000-$30,000 a month. We teach our agents to have a good return on their investments regardless of what lead plan they are on. That being said FFL will NEVER tell anyone that they have to buy leads any lead purchased is done on the agents own accord.

Pros

Set your own schedule, get to travel a lot for work

Cons

You buy your leads and then the company recycles them into their crm to sell you the lead again, even if you close the lead. You pay your own gas, leads, all travel costs and have to track all your income for taxes Leads are "warm" but some were upwards of 5-10 years old You are expected to mass dial over 100 leads per dial day at a cost of 7-20 dollars per lead There is a 'drink the koolaide' mentality, all their sales conferences seem like mega church sermons about how you should trust the process even if you are losing money on leads There is a corporate culture of 'succeed or stop wasting my time'

Pros

Being your own boss and working independently

Cons

-Upline dishonesty and carelessness when asking for the next steps that need to be taken. - Being told more leads will always fix your problems, and investing thousands of dollars will surely fix your problem - Toxic positivity culture. Agents are made to feel that it is only their mindset that is holding them back when something does not work for them.

We do not mandate that our agents spend thousands of dollars on leads. We don't even mandate that our agents purchase leads through our vendors at all. We are upfront that you are more than welcome to purchase leads from an outside source or do your own client prospecting if you'd prefer. I do not know what conversation you had with your upline that lead you to feel otherwise but if you'd like to speak with a different top manager directly you can call our Corporate office and we'd be happy to help in any way that we can.
