Pros

If you get into this business, you’ll be learning a major life lesson, and hopefully become smarter when you get out.

Cons

Scam! Insurance Agents are led to invest lots of money and made believe they’ll get a lot of money in return. The reality is that this whole system is nothing but a cult - the people that have their agencies are making money off of you. The lead campaigns are misleading, and many people will think they’re being offered government assistance, and won’t realize you’re just selling life insurance until you’re inside their homes.

This couldn't be further from the truth, we do not "lead" anyone to "invest lots of money" in anything. We are a lead based company, there are at least a dozen different lead vendors that our agents get discounts through because of our volume which allows the agents to have a lead program for any budget. Some agents spend a lot on leads while others spend very little. We also help make sure the agent is profitable regardless of what type of lead program they are utilizing. Nobody makes money off of any agent, FFL's hierarchy structure is standard to the way this industry operates every agent has the ability to hire other agents and the insurance carriers will pay an override based on what the agents sell. This override does not affect the agent writing the policy at all. That being said this industry is not for everyone and unfortunately at times when people don't have the success that they were not willing to work for the blame tends to be pointed towards the company even though we have hundreds of agents that issued over six figures in 2019.

Pros

I can not think of any at this time.

Cons

1. is a multi-level marketing organization 2. You buy leads that have been used before, they expect you to travel to training, a lot of positive talk but no actual formal training on how to get things done. 3. They want you to recruit others to work under you. 4. Leads have been used - you call and people dont know what the heck you talking about. There are upfront fees that will cost min. $400 + leads.

We are sorry that you had this experience as it is far from what we teach and work hard to offer our independent contractors. We do not force or even imply that any independent contractor should buy leads through one of our sources we simply offer them as an option. We do offer weekly trainings in the form of conference calls and recorded videos. We also offer monthly Boot Camps inclusive of sales training from top producers along with live dials to show producers exactly how to book appointments off of all types of leads. We do not require anybody to hire agents in fact we suggest that you do not hire agents unless you are consistently producing. At Family First Life there are no fees or start up costs. All of our training including Summer Sales Conference and our Annual Convention are free to attend. There are also a number of ways to earn free leads through Family First Life. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to contact the corporate office at 860-317-1324.

Pros

Family First Life has provided the best training, resources and compensation that im able to more than triple the income what I can do in corporate america working 60-80 hrs a week in only 40 hours so I have time with my family, and on my schedule. FFL you are vested day 1, paid top comp and plenty of leads. FFL has not only helped my family financially but helped me be a better person working on a team of positive people and resources to grow.

Cons

You are independent and have to plug into the resources so your success is a result of your work ethic.
