Pros

I recently started working with Apex Systems and have dealt with several other contract agencies to get a job I was told by a friend finally came open at a reputable company. A technician currently staffed at the company told me about it but said I'd have to go with a contract agency due to state regulation requirements on the hiring process. I submitted for the job with 3 contract agencies at the same time to see who would reach out and get it done faster. Apex Systems got back to me immediately and was readily available during the whole process and on the ball! They submitted me a day before anybody else even called me back, even after hounding all the agencies that I already had received a followup contact by the hiring manager saying I have the job secured as soon as a contract agency reaches out to them. A competing company then called me the next day and after finding out I was already submitted, asked me to sign a right to represent amendment, then submitted my resume a second time, unseating Apex Systems. The Apex Systems account manager for the position got back to me and was honest and professional about the situation and informed me the position is "vendor neutral" and I was free to choose whoever I'd like to represent me and even gave me the contact name and number for the company taking submissions so I could confirm this myself. After due diligence, I found out he was right! I let them know that I want Apex Systems to represent me because they were forthcoming, open and honest about the entire process and would ultimately be the company I want to represent me on my behalf. After they accepted my information from Apex, the other competing company contacted me and started asking questions, talking sternly with me and trying to provide a legal challenge to the right to their represent amendment they requested from me. I let them know I sorted this issue out with the hiring company directly and they let me know it was a "vendor neutral" candidate process, immediately after the competing company was trying to make it seem like they didn't just break state regulations in the submission process. I also let them know honesty and integrity are important pillars in my life and I would expect them to stand on the same principles and be forthcoming and honest as well. Needless to say, the competition doesn't seem to want to work with me anymore! Their loss! Apex Systems honesty and integrity throughout the whole process is ultimately why I went with them as my representing agency. The competing company tried to counter with a much higher paying position and after due diligence, I found out the company offered had a high turnover rate and toxic environment and so I turned down that competing offer. You simply can't replace honesty and integrity by offering me a job with a higher rate of pay, but inter-personnel management challenges and lie to me just to make a buck. I see those pitfalls from a mile away because I'm not stupid. I highly recommend Apex Systems above all other companies in the Las Vegas area because they are open and honest and are there to represent my best interests, unlike the rest of these contract agencies who will tell me anything and everything, looking out only for their own interests and the businesses I represent. I had to learn that lesson the hard way through years of experiences with contract agencies. Let me save you the time and just go to Apex Systems for all your needs when getting placed in an IT job in Las Vegas! You will get placed in a job that is truly the right fit for you and they will truly represent your best interests! Thanks again Pete, Chris and Jonathan for your hard work and most importantly, your honesty!

Cons

None. Zip. Zilch. These are the go to guys if you want true honesty, integrity and help finding the right job FOR YOU and not just any old job! :D

Pros

Uncapped Commission, get to work with large Fortune 500 companies, as well as mid market and startups, room for growth and advancement.

Cons

cliquey, small office, out of date technology and old school environment compared to other staffing firms, NO work from home, NO paid maternity leave. It is a sink or swim environment so there is a lot of turnover.

Pros

They have a good number of contracts and can get you in the door.

Cons

Insurance is horrible. If you work with them, get your own insurance. You are on your own. If you have any issues with the company they sign you with, they are not on your side.
