      A genuine love for my company

      Pros

      The team culture is incredible. You have incredible, tenured leadership who have been with the company for years longer than the average recruiting company. Apex was founded in 1996 by three men who then worked for TekSystems, but thought they could run a better company and provide better service both to clients and contractors. Recruiters are held to high metrics and data integrity is one of them. Apex not only encourages, but holds their internal employees accountable for the relationships they're fostering.

      Cons

      Apex offers uncapped commission, so the base salary is fairly low. The first 6 months are hard, but they're building months.

      Pros

      Collaborative, positive environment. Rewarding- personally, professionally and financially. Great management at the local, district and national level- I feel like I'm given the right amount of direction and support to be successful. Lots of opportunity for professional training and development.

      Cons

      The starting base salary is a bit challenging, but speaking from experience, anyone who is a quick learner and hard worker will come in and quickly earn commission to make up for it.

      Pros

      I am paid weekly. I work with other relatively recent college graduates.

      Cons

      Poor communication. A rushed application process that ended with start date being postponed for a substantial length of time. No compensation for this.
