Over promises and not kept

Pros

- timely payment to contractors.

Cons

The recruiters over promise and sell the paid sick leave give by the city of SF as though they are giving contractors paid leave. The recruiter also promised a eval and raise after 6 months of contract but when the time came she said she is hardly being paid anything to give a raise. I found out that she was billing the client $30 over what she was paying me.

Pros

The hr ( Contractor Care) is very helpful. They do you pay you on time. They have a great on boarding proccess.

Cons

The benefits are high in price. The recruiters barely contact you and never come and visit. All of the other recruiters from different agencies come on site at least twice a month with donuts or mugs or anything to represent their company. Apex is horrible.

If I could give negative stars I would

Pros

Check comes weekly. That's it. That's it. That's all. Need to hit 20 words.

Cons

This is the type of place the phrase "body shop" comes from. All they care about is margin and they will simply let you leave in the middle of a project if you ask for more money. Note to employers, these companies exist because you allow them to exist. So if you really care about having key people leave, by all means keep apex in business. Bottom feeder personified.
