Essilor has great benefits, but leaves its managers in its branch locations unchecked and unsupervised.

great benefits, free eye wear for you and your family, loads of CE, great hours.

Cons

It yo are working in a branch location chances are there will be no established code of ethics to work by. In my location there was no human resources personnel and constant issues with management not follow through with company policy.

Opportunity to work with international and cross-functional teams. Many challenging projects to tackle and have chance to follow through on longer term projects.

Cons

There was not much room for career growth. Often the program scope would be changed and the work would need to be quickly redirected or stopped all together.
