Pros

Great focus on young talent development. Good leadership, good corporate structure, collaborative team environment, lots of career opportunities.

Cons

It'll be good to introduce/encourage ad-hoc training for rest of the employees apart from the development programmes we already have in place.

Pros

Great benefits. Room for advancement. Original management was superb. Product superb and sells itself.

Cons

Lots of competition. Too many new acquisitions. Starting to compete against our own selves.

Pros

Great benefits, well-kept facilities in 2 of the 3 corporate buildings, French company so exempt from SOX restrictions, good central location right off of interstate 35, best products on the market, fairly lax on the dress code depending on the department

Cons

Big disparity in pay in men vs women, management doesn't understand the concept of glass ceiling and instead blames lack of diversity on women and POC, salaried workers will work long long hours and hourly employees are expected to work off the clock to get all the work done, upper management can't make a decision and stick to it, review process is unnecessary and complicated, employees are not valued as people only as cogs, HR is toothless, IT is abused, hourly workers are treated as sub-human, sexual harassment is rampant in finance, out sourcing to Mexico is straining some departments, parking is nightmare! You are not allowed to have fun, ever. Be a robot and work yourself to death at Essilor
