      Pros

      EF Hefei provided me with an opportunity to move into an academic manager position and also offered a scholarship allowing me to continue my education in exchange for a two year contract. Work is hard at times, like during summer course, but the overall team dynamic is positive and fun.

      Cons

      Starting pay package is not the best and better rewards take some time to earn through promotions and hard work.

      Pros

      I've worked at EF Hefei for over 9 years now. My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. I have received a lot of training and support, and have been provided opportunities to progress with my career. I started here as a teacher, progressed to senior teacher and worked as a manager of a school within the first five years of our employment. I am now in charge of running a four week training program for all new teachers and monitoring the quality of teachers across all our centers. There is a good management structure and a lot of emphasis is put on maintaining and developing academic quality.

      Cons

      The initial financial package is a little low (it would be nice to see the company loosen the purse strings in general). The HR department needs to work on communicating better with foreign staff.
