Cons

Low salary Minimum holidays Try underhand tactics to avoid staff leaving to better paid jobs by refusing to provide letter of release, even when contract is finished (a major issue in China) Antisocial hours - evenings and weekends.

Pros

The training is useful and you can actually learn a lot about teaching.

Cons

Too many lies. Consistently over works you and 'expects' you to come in on your day off to use erasers on the wall for possible presidential visits. Refuses to cooperate with you for a job transfer; EF policy is not allow employee transfers (as it has been reported by multiple senior staff), even upon employee requests. Forced to go on a stay permit and leave the country (if your jurisdiction doesn't accept the stay permit), which you don't even find out about until you've already given in your passport.

Thank you for your review. We take a lot of pride in our training programs for teachers and are glad you found them useful. We are, however, sorry that you felt negatively about your experience with us. It is almost impossible to transfer visas between companies due to a string of Chinese regulations and policies. Pros

Fairly easy work, good colleagues, okay if you just get on with it and enjoy living in Bali. 2 days of every week, possibility for overtime

Cons

Takes a while to process work visa. Management not really helpful. Have to add pressure to do your work permit and not work illegal
