Amazing team, great training and support in first few years

Went thru 4 CEO’s in my time there. It got worse with each one. Focus on training fell year after year. Job became all about getting credit cards. When I started, product training was a big priority. By the time I left, there was almost none, other than a more experienced sales associate giving you a few tips on how to fake it when talking to a customer. All focus was on selling credit cards. They’ll continue to perform well, but not from true customer focus in the stores or appreciating value of employees. It’s all about selling that credit card and in home design services. In recent years, I saw amazing management pushed aside if store wasn’t hitting above and beyond credit card goals, even when it was hitting all other goals.
