Pros

Direct contact with a segment of tourists that are as enthusiastic as they are demanding : the high-school students and their teachers .

Cons

one has to be rather in his/her younger age, as the itineraries and schedule are quite tiring . In time , getting over 50 , this job can be exhausting .

Pros

Honestly, amazing benefits. EF probably has the most comprehensive medical plan in the corporate world. Great dental, good 401k matching. If you do your job you'll travel abroad at least once a year on their dime, which is a pretty nice perk.

Cons

EF has absolutely no interest in employee retention. They hire 22 year old kids straight out of college to man the phones and work them until they get bored, go back to grad school, or get a real job. While the company has "unlimited sick days"- don't take them or you'll be hounded about it by "HR" even with a doctor's note. Pay to lower than average for the industry, but bonuses can get you back to a normal salary.
