Pros

Excellent product that really improves assists patients in their daily lives. Also provides significant benefit to providers that provides great assistance in therapeutic decisions. Company is quickly evolving - product and process improvements taking place continuously. Working at this company was very much a challenge for me initially (I previously left a review when new and overwhelmed). This is my part 2 review- and an amendment to my first. The challenging environment has resulted in personal and professional development which would never have happened in pharma. I am thankful for this opportunity and would recommend the TBM role for those who are ready to grow in the medical sales field.

Cons

Frequent changes can present some challenges (growing pains) for both TBMs and Dexcom users. Monthly goals are challenging, occasionally overly optimistic). All in all though I have found that Dexcom is a company that is trying hard to do the right thing for patients and sales reps (TBMs).

Pros

Exciting product to sell and support. Great satisfaction in really helping patients with a great tool to help manage their diabetes. Work day flies by, product is in huge demand and never a dull moment.

Cons

Unrealistic job expectations on the inside sales team. Over loaded with too much work and expected to achieve it. Department is not managed or treated well, morale is bad because this hard working team is not rewarded or valued for all the stress and expected sales and customer service they provide. Work load NEVER lightens up, only gets heavier. This group is treated like work horses, not professionals motivated to be recognized, rewarded and promoted!

Pros

Great product. Great subordinates. Low level managers are nice in contrast with upper management.

Cons

Bad management, all thinking of their financial gains. Financial gains is high priorities compared to customer's satisfaction.
