Pros

Team mates at Crystal Legal are easy to get along with. It's very easy to feel good about yourself if you get in with the right crowd who appreciate you. Early finishes on Friday are useful and the CEO gives personal updates on how the company is doing.

Cons

I've been in a couple of teams at Crystal Legal. One was really good but the other was terrible. It feels like pot luck which team you get put in. Sometimes the work gets quite boring and it can be very draining if you're the type of person who enjoys intellectual conversation because the level of education of colleagues isn't high. Working there for long periods is very mind numbing!

Pros

I'm quite new to Crystal but so far it's been really good. The other agents are friendly, management is fair and I found the training excellent.

Cons

None yet as I am still quite new.

Pros

A couple of the management team were good at getting people to follow their ideas. They were genuinely thought out ideas and consideration was taken to include all the people who would need to be involved.

Cons

Most of the management team were far too close minded for their own good. Too much preoccupation on tiny details whilst ignoring the glaringly obvious problems facing the company (such as the fact PPI is not going to last forever!!). My manager seemed to take great pleasure in putting people down about the fact they had only GCSE qualifications, and they themselves had a university degree. It was really patronising and they kept bringing it up all the time. I raised it with the CEO but they just laughed and said I was being "too sensitive". I handed in my notice a couple of weeks later. When I left the HR department said I had breached terms and conditions and so I wasn't entitled to my remaining holiday to be paid. I wrote a letter asking why and they immediately backed down and paid me it. When I phoned them to ask why they said it was just something they did when people left to try to save money!! Their health package benefit is nonsense. We have an NHS.
