Pros
A couple of the management team were good at getting people to follow their ideas. They were genuinely thought out ideas and consideration was taken to include all the people who would need to be involved.
Cons
Most of the management team were far too close minded for their own good. Too much preoccupation on tiny details whilst ignoring the glaringly obvious problems facing the company (such as the fact PPI is not going to last forever!!). My manager seemed to take great pleasure in putting people down about the fact they had only GCSE qualifications, and they themselves had a university degree. It was really patronising and they kept bringing it up all the time. I raised it with the CEO but they just laughed and said I was being "too sensitive". I handed in my notice a couple of weeks later. When I left the HR department said I had breached terms and conditions and so I wasn't entitled to my remaining holiday to be paid. I wrote a letter asking why and they immediately backed down and paid me it. When I phoned them to ask why they said it was just something they did when people left to try to save money!! Their health package benefit is nonsense. We have an NHS.
