Pros

Birthday Cake, Day off for Birthday, car parking space, free tea and coffee.

Cons

There are quite a few unfortunately. I was laid off recently due to a "company restructure" after having months of being told that we were doing so well and the future looks bright. It is a shame none of that come to pass, as i did enjoy the people i worked with. I won't be as direct as the other review, but there are major management issues and i feel this comes from the top down. There is too much in the form of social emphasis, rather than actually getting the work done. I feel that if the future is in the hands of the management and CEO, then it really doesn't look good. I lost all faith in the company when they decided to pay people a real wage after people threatened to leave. Why not do this in the first place when things were bright? The scattergun approach to "New Horizons" doesn't look good, as the company seems to discard them as quickly as they introduce them. Now the ones that have come in are struggling as well in a market that is very saturated, so it doesn't look good. I was always a person who kept quiet and got on with my job, but i am disappointed that my time in the company wasn't appreciated, instead i am looking for a job in the area and struggling. The biggest criticism i can level at the CEO is that he is reactive and not proactive to new products. He could have planned for this years ago, knowing the deadline is in August, instead he decided to look into it 6 months before. It's not a surprise that a majority of people are looking for jobs as the company looks like it could go under at any minute. Redundancies are the beginning of any company going under, so the future isn't bright. It's non existent at Crystal. The other review inspired me to voice my opinion, i suggest others do the same.

Dear Reviewer, I do not wish to get into a public debate about the particulars and will avoid responding to specific points raised. I will only respond that I don't think your post is as balanced as it could be, or fair on those who remain working here. I can fully understand that what has happened to you is upsetting, will have affected your home life and probably caused anxiety. I and the leadership team were genuinely upset to have to make the restructuring decisions we did. The changes that were forced upon us by banks meant we had to change processes which resulted in loss of roles. For that, I would like to apologise and say I am sorry. We're pleased that a number of people have secured new roles and we will do what we can to help those affected. I wish you success in finding a new role, quickly. Tony CEO

Pros

There’s utterly no pro’s to working here.

Cons

The company break their own core values , lying to staff and then making them redundant. Ridiculous, unrealistic targets are set which are expected to be hit. It’s obvious the company is struggling because they know PPI is coming to an end. Managers don’t have a clue what their doing. It’s an over glorified PPI company. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ON THIS WEBSITE! MANAGERS MAKE STAFF FAKE THEM! STAY AWAY FROM HERE! It’s not a secure job and it’s underpaid.

Bad management fill your head with how well the business is doing and then make loads of people redundant. Management don't get on.

Dear Reviewer, I agree that our Crystal team contains a great bunch of people. It was a real regret that we recently had to make changes to the structure of the business which also resulted in reduction of required roles. As we shared in the company updates at the time, this was not driven around business performance but a change of process which was needed to protect our customers. You will hopefully appreciate that there are no specifics mentioned in your review and so it's hard to comment. I would encourage you to engage a member of the leadership team and discuss your concerns, or come directly to me, so we can help identify the specific issues that you refer to. Tony CEO
