Pros

The pay is huge compared with what we can find locally, and the company is really straight-forward - there are no false pretenses. You get paid for your work, and they keep track of it. Pretty simple.

Cons

Lack of benefits (that gets compensateds by the huge pay) There's pressure to get things done on a certain way, that sometimes is uncertain.

Pros

For the higherup positions, work can be flexible, but it all depends on which organization you work in. VP level jobs and up allow for most freedom and interesting work to be done in the organization. Pay is great. Flexibility is premium.

Cons

Meetings etc. can be US centric. So while things are remote, and work is built to be asynchronous you may have to join meetings in odd time zones. Job security is mostly internal politics.

Pros

- Pay is at the higher end of salaries for similar roles in my local region, on-time weekly pay - Genuinely intelligent and friendly colleagues, managers - Expect tasks to be challenging and learn something new every week - Fully remote work

Cons

Long term contract role, so you might be let go if you slack or do not perform well...But I have seen people working for more than 4 years and they are really good at their job. Taking holidays is slightly frowned upon and might affect your performance at company (this is lack of clarity about leave policy for ICs)
