Don't get lured by their false advertising

Pros

None whatsoever. It's all a big hoax.

Cons

I can't believe this company has a rating over 2.5. When you're promised a career opportunity with a salary of $800k a year and after one week you realize it's all a big hoax. The fault should be mine too, I should have researched better, I mean when a company has a revenue of around $200k/employee that means the company is neither successful, nor it can afford to throw away dollars to newcomers. Stay away!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, but it seems there's been a misunderstanding here. Firstly, it's clear you haven't actually worked with Crossover. We don't offer $800k salaries to newcomers - that's not how we operate at all. Our model is about finding the top 1% of global talent and paying them competitively. We're transparent about our rigorous hiring process and high expectations. Anyone who's been through our recruitment knows this. It sounds like you might have come across some misinformation. We'd encourage you to check out our actual job listings and hiring process at crossover.com for accurate details. We're always open to constructive feedback, but in this case, your review doesn't reflect the reality of working with Crossover. We stand by our model of connecting top talent with great remote opportunities at competitive rates.

Thanks for your review! It's great to see the pay was something you appreciated, and that you enjoyed your time with your team. As part of our work setup, we do use a tracking software to help keep everyone on track and focused. We've found it's quite effective for our teams, and not any more intrusive than being in an office, where your boss can look over your shoulder at any time. Good pay and truly a remote company. Pay is on time weekly.

Pros

+Good pay +Flexible time in some teams but fixed in others +Was assigned to an amazing team before I left

Cons

-Didn't like the idea of a webcam that was on while working so it captures your screen together with your photos every 10 mins for your payroll. A Screencapture is ok. The webcam is not necessary.

Thanks for your review! It's great to see you enjoyed your pay and the balance of flexibility and structure. We'd like to take a moment to address your feedback on productivity monitoring. We find it's valuable to help people stay productive while working from home – and ultimately, not more intrusive than a regular office layout where others can see you working.
