Thanks for your review. It's important to understand that because independent contractors aren't employees, they don't accrue benefits like paid holiday time. This is true globally and not just at Crossover. It's one of the big reasons why the pay is so high – we deliberately overcompensate so workers can typically afford the healthcare packages and vacations that they would have expected in a salaried position, and still have expendable income left over.

Thanks for your review! It's awesome to hear you value your team and the flexibility of your schedule. It's understandable productivity software takes a bit of getting used to, but ultimately it's no more intrusive than working in an "open office" layout close to other people. Pros

Good payment, but it's a survival game, every day, with crazy and inter-dependent metrics which mostly don't make much sense.

Cons

The environment is extremely toxic, with upper management changing the rules in the middle of the game, without no warning. There's no raise opportunity either, unless you apply to an upper-level position.

Thank you for the review. We pride ourselves on finding the best of the best candidates for our clients, as the work can be fast-paced and demanding. We know that certainly isn't the right environment for everyone. The people who thrive here are the ones who have a great attitude, love a challenge, and never compromise on quality. It's hard, but it's worth it. Each company we recruit for has their own process for evaluating talent and offering advancement opportunities, and we encourage everyone to have these conversations with their teams.
