Pros

- This org is AI first in every aspect - from processes to products we build. I've learnt a ton here - Everyone here is smart and competent. That's a big motivator. Crossover claims we're the top 1%. I think it's pretty close. - Some of the C-suite leaders here are real gems - brilliant, incisive, give you autonomy. If you're lucky enough to work with the right folks, that makes the experience more valuable. - High stakes, high impact - with small teams, your work has direct impact on business outcomes - Process driven - we're constantly looking to create a machine out of processes. That forces you to zoom out. - Feels like a meritocracy. Still to be validated

Cons

- This is not a con for me, but is likely one for most people - this is not a traditional job. We're contractors hired as needed, and can be let go of swiftly if our role is made redundant. You should get into it with the right expectations. - Constant monitoring is hard to digest. While I knew what I was signing up for, it's still a tough one. Never been used to this, and it creates a feeling that certainly dampens the fun / motivation.

Love this snapshot. Thrilled the AI-first approach, small high-impact teams, and sharp leaders are fueling your growth. You’re right: we operate as contractors, and transparency/monitoring is part of how we run. We keep refining tools so they inform without killing motivation. Thanks for the 5.

Pros

High salary, asynchronous working, effective work-life balance

Cons

Job openings are not frequent, and the hiring process is strenuous. Some tasks would require you to work in time zones very different from yours, which could be somewhat inconvenient but definitely worth it

Glad the async setup and balance are working for you - and appreciate you calling out the strong pay. You’re right: our process is rigorous, and some roles need limited timezone overlap. We call those requirements out in the job description so candidates can plan ahead.
