Thanks for sharing your candid feedback. We're glad the compensation met expectations, though sorry to hear about your challenging experience. It seems you may have worked with one of our client companies rather than Crossover directly. While we handle recruitment and payments, the day-to-day management practices and culture vary by company. We'll pass along this feedback to help improve team support and growth opportunities. If you'd like to discuss your experience in more detail, please reach out to humanresources@crossover.com.

Pros

- Work at your own time - Competitive pay (I was from a 3rd world country) - Kind employees

Cons

- Surveillance software that tracks productivity metrics - Harmful "language / tech-agnostic" mentality that prevents specialization or growth

Thanks for sharing your perspective. The flexible hours and competitive global pay rates are indeed core parts of our model. Regarding productivity tracking - this is designed to help remote teams stay focused, similar to oversight in a physical office. As for being tech-agnostic - this actually helps develop versatile problem-solving skills that are increasingly valuable in today's rapidly evolving tech landscape. However, we understand this approach isn't for everyone.

Thanks for sharing your perspective on the remote work experience. The flexibility is indeed a key benefit we offer. It seems you worked with one of our client companies - while we handle recruitment, the day-to-day metrics and culture are managed by them. We'll pass along your feedback about the metrics to help improve the experience.
