Pros

Can work on you own phase and time.

Cons

There is no support at all when your contract is ended. You have to gone through the same process of hiring even if you just finished your contract from a previous company(with excellent feedback from the client ) if you want to get a new job.

We appreciate the feedback. When we find great talent, we do our best to hold onto them but it's not always possible. We recognize that there's still work to be done to help great people find new assignments when priorities change. Given your positive feedback from past work, we would love to help you find work with another company and hope to see your name again soon.

Pros

- Learn on the job? This is valid in most companies though - Flexible hours

Cons

- To work in Crossover, you need to install a tracker which takes screenshots of your screen and PICTURES OF YOU through the webcam, counts how many keyboard strokes per minute, and how many mouse clicks, and the screen time for each application. If you are absent in one of the pictures, those 10 minutes are not paid. - Obsessive monitoring and micromanagement - No empathy from managers - No growth perspectives - No benefits - Did I mention the tracker? Man, that still makes me go nuts

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We work to provide our teammates time to learn both on their own and in a group format, and we're glad to see you enjoyed the flexible hours. Its understandable productivity software takes a bit of getting used to, but ultimately it's no more intrusive than working in an "open office" layout close to other people. Pros

Nothing special I can mention here.

Cons

I worked for Crossover for 4 years, and my journey with them ended my resignation. The reason I left is simply that this company keeps making our life worse. They continuously change the process to make it more stressful, they surprise you from time to time with new tests (CCATs or Bootcamps), where you should either pass or you'll get fired. Nothing like getting tested while you are already working can be found in any other company, especially when the tests are non-technical. Moreover, you'll never get praised or promoted unless you are a friend to your manager, and the official way to get promoted is to re-apply to a hire position. Imagine working for long years, without any known promotions path. There's no job security there, and you can never be happy working for them.

Thanks for your 4 years of service. That's a solid tenure and we'd love to hear more about the reasons that you stayed – perhaps you didn't always feel negatively about your experience? Nevertheless, sorry to hear that you decided to resign in the end. Important to note that it appears you may be speaking about one of the companies we hire for, rather than Crossover itself. Our standards are very high and it's not easy to achieve them – but your description is not indicative of the culture that we strive for. We invest a lot of resources into finding the best talent in the world and want to hold onto them. We're actively working to improve the pathways for career progression, as well as helping our clients to address some of the concerns that you've expressed. If you are willing to speak with our HR team about your experience, please reach out to humanresources@crossover.com so we can look into it in more detail.
