Pros

Flexi hour, laptop that can bring home. If superior likes u, u can get paid n promoted for doing nothing at all.

Cons

Lower pay than other companies in the same industry and way lower compared to other industry. Say one thing, do one thing. Unfair treatment even in the same team. Very bad work bully environment. No justice served even bully incidents brought to director level. If boss decided not to promote a staff, the staff will stay as junior level for more than 15 years. Reporting to superior who has zero knowledge about our job. Appraisal and bonus based PURELY on feedback system and not observation from superior. All based on management gut feeling to judge. One can be promoted for no reason or doing nothing and just claim colleague's credit. If one is liked by superior then one is lucky to be promoted all the way to manager even he/she knows very little. Technical knowledge is NEVER appreciated. If ever have chance to join, just try to make superior happy and career path is guaranteed. Even concerns raised to HR, they will disregard if by saying superior's decision is final.

Pros

Being in the field of technology, this place brings a major challenge--in a positive and negative way. The positive being that there's no other enterprise environment regarding networking around the area and that hands-on experience is invaluable. Past that, the health benefits are ok (very high deductibles). The PTO is definitely one of the highlights of the compensation package (3 weeks at the start of every year). But be careful when it comes to choosing roles or else you may never get to truly enjoy your PTO. They will pay 100% to get an Associates degree if you don't have that already and will also reimburse some money back for getting a Bachelor's as long as you commit to working 2 years are obtaining the degree.

Cons

This company operates on a lot of old-school politics and elitist ideas unfortunately, so getting though that can be quite a challenge. Promotions and role changes are heavily influenced by who you know and how you present yourself (male or female) rather than being performance based. There are a lot of people in leadership that are just there because they've always been there or simply because a higher-up is buddies with them and have no actual business being in leadership.

Pros

If one takes charge of their career and is confident enough to stand up for the right vs wrong, you will have better results. You have the freedom to speak if you can speak. Work culture is in such a way that it helps those who take interest in their progression and wouldn't for those who won't.

Cons

Mid-level managers are a blunder, incompetent, complacent, resistant to change and have no management experience. They are mostly promoted because they have been in the company for a long time. The company is failing to train the mid-level managers and tell them what is expected of them. Salary is way lower than average in the industry. HR has gone down in terms of their arrogant behaviour and treats interviewees in a more humane manner now. This could be because of the dramatic ongoing attrition. Female employees in the company are far less compared to males. There is some level of gender bias, and discrimination, especially seen among long served employees. HR offer far low salary to female employees than the male with the same skillset and experience. So, bias is top-down and starts with HR itself.
