Pros

Great people who all share the same company values and make the environment a positive one. Genuine feeling of being able to have fun at work as long as your outputs are strong. Team environment where everyone is genuinely happy to pull together and help others out. Flexible working hours and working from home opportunities. Regular company meetings to update employees on what's going on in the company and to share successes/promotions/news.

Cons

Sometimes you feel the US and Europe culture difference and the sense that the US office is where everything happens. Share the negatives as well as the positives. Negatives get out and are whispered about anyway, so better to hear the negatives etc from leadership.

Pros

Flexibility - my leaders were very understanding of my life situations and accommodated them. I will certainly give them credit for that. The work itself was great. I loved working with an innovative client and my partners within said client were amazing.

Cons

The environment can be VERY unprofessional and cliquey. If you aren't friends with the right people or drink the leader's kool-aid, you will not advance. If you do advance and refuse to adapt to that type of environment, you will be disliked and treated poorly by your peers via gossip and rumors. Some leadership has little experience in management, which can help create the unprofessional environment. I felt more part of my client's team than Cielo, which was very disappointing. I would have rather worked directly for them than Cielo. You HAVE to work in your current position for 9 months (no matter how long you've worked at the company) in order to transfer or apply to advance. Unfortunately, this rule is not always followed, thus putting people into leadership positions that aren't qualified.
