The environment can be VERY unprofessional and cliquey. If you aren't friends with the right people or drink the leader's kool-aid, you will not advance. If you do advance and refuse to adapt to that type of environment, you will be disliked and treated poorly by your peers via gossip and rumors.
Some leadership has little experience in management, which can help create the unprofessional environment.
I felt more part of my client's team than Cielo, which was very disappointing. I would have rather worked directly for them than Cielo.
You HAVE to work in your current position for 9 months (no matter how long you've worked at the company) in order to transfer or apply to advance. Unfortunately, this rule is not always followed, thus putting people into leadership positions that aren't qualified.
