Hi, this is Molly Thiel, SVP of People & Culture for the Americas. We know how hard our people work, and offer recognition programs, as well as flexibility to empower everyone to create their own sense of work/life balance. We recognize that as our company grows, our benefits need to evolve and this year, we’ve undergone an extensive review of our total rewards package. You’ll see some enhancements announced when open enrollment kicks off in the next few weeks and we’ll continue to review our offerings to ensure we keep up with the industry, and more importantly, our employees’ needs. The enhancements are based on feedback we’ve received from employees – we’re always listening through one-on-one conversations, employee experience surveys, our leader coffee/lunch sessions and more! It sounds like you have a great working relationship with your leader – please share your feedback with them or contact me any time (Molly.Thiel@cielotalent.com) so we can understand where there is opportunity to improve.

Benefits Are Insultingly Poor

Pros

Remote work from home flexibility

Cons

The 401K has a extremely poor match at 50% on a 3% contribution (in other words a 1.5% match on 6% and it vested in SIX YEARS!!!! Are you kidding me? Also the is NO, I repeat NO, Short Term Disability. If you get laid up, you are out of a paycheck for 6 months until a low payout LTD kicks in. This company is as cheap they come. To add insult to injury, the just started to offer a "sabbatical" after 10 years of service. Seriously? This is a way for the company to say they are offering progressive benefits when in fact it's a way for them to defer costs to some time in the distant future when I'll probably be dead. There are some talented people at this company but I have to wonder why they would settle for this. My only hope is that they are bought out by a larger company like IBM did with Kenexa and ADP did with The Right Thing. That seems to be the only chance to improve benefits because current management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Signed, ONE PISSED OFF EMPLOYEE

Hi, this is Molly Thiel, SVP of People and Culture for the Americas. As Cielo continues to grow, we recognize that our benefits need to evolve to remain competitive in the industry and stay ahead of our employees’ needs. This year, we’ve undergone an extensive review of our total rewards package. The 10-year sabbatical is the first of many enhancements you’ll see when open enrollment kicks off in the coming weeks. The changes we’re making arose because of input we’ve received through employee feedback mechanisms like one-on-one conversations, employee experience surveys, our leader coffee/lunch sessions and more – please take advantage of those opportunities or come see my any time on the 4th floor. You can also contact me at molly.thiel@cielotalent.com or 262-439-1389.
