The 401K has a extremely poor match at 50% on a 3% contribution (in other words a 1.5% match on 6% and it vested in SIX YEARS!!!! Are you kidding me? Also the is NO, I repeat NO, Short Term Disability. If you get laid up, you are out of a paycheck for 6 months until a low payout LTD kicks in. This company is as cheap they come.
To add insult to injury, the just started to offer a "sabbatical" after 10 years of service. Seriously? This is a way for the company to say they are offering progressive benefits when in fact it's a way for them to defer costs to some time in the distant future when I'll probably be dead.
There are some talented people at this company but I have to wonder why they would settle for this.
My only hope is that they are bought out by a larger company like IBM did with Kenexa and ADP did with The Right Thing. That seems to be the only chance to improve benefits because current management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.
