Pros

I cannot think of any.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations by management and though I around 20 hours per day, it was not enough to my manager who made me look like I was at fault for his failure to do his job correctly.

Hi, this is Darren Simons, President of the Americas. I know that nothing I say here can make you feel better about the experience you describe - it certainly does not reflect the one we aim to provide for our people. It's disheartening that this is how you remember your first and only year at Cielo. I would love the opportunity to better understand the situation and what led to all of this. Please reach out to me any time at darren.simons@cielotalent.com.

Awful company

Pros

The 'team' environment is a pro, but depends who you are and if you are part of the cliques. You could have a real team environment if you supported people who did their job instead of people who just gossiped all day.

Cons

Management is 100% backwards, they promote the people who do the least amount of work, the good employees leave because of poor treatment by the managers/team leads. You cannot be promoted unless you go on Facebook all day and slack and go to the mall. If you are not part of the 'cliques', you will get ignored by team members AND management. The management is just apart of the cliques as the actual Interviewing Specialists/Recruiters. You cannot 'climb' the ladder, again, unless you're part of the clique. If you are not a 'favorite' of management, then the more work you do, the more top notch recruiter skills you demonstrate, they will knock you down and say you need to improve. This post may not even make it to the reviews due to the robots of HR who don't look out for you and only do what they're told. You can become a Recruiter from an Interviewing Specialist role, but they only offer a program for that twice a year. You will not make it in unless you're a 'favorite' or part of your team clique. People who were brand new to the company made it into the program versus people who had been there over a year, due to being 'popular'. (With NO experience in recruiting). The program, RecruitU, is also rigged, the leaders also playing favorites. This company is based on popularity, cliques, and being a slacker. IF you do your job, (high amount of outbound calls/Phone Interviews per week) they will not reward you, you will be looked at as a threat. The ones that slacked off, walked around, walked to the mall for over an hour, barely did outbound calls, barely did phone interviews, GOT promoted, LOL. Also they had a 'lego' acknowledgement system, where during the weekly team meeting, you could nominate coworkers for something they did well, or you appreciated, and they would get a lego for their desk. It was always the SAME cliques 'nominating' the same friends. LOL. On top of allllll of this, the pay is LITTLE and benefits are bad. This company is a joke and I am so HAPPY I got out when I did.
