CAI is a great place to learn and grow - there are lots of opportunities to work on many different projects if you are proactive. It is filled with a passionate set of employees who are committed to their work, and who are great colleagues. If you are interested in learning about how non-profit organizations work, and what different public health career trajectories might look like, it is a great place to work. I was constantly exposed to new opportunities and experienced tremendous career growth during my time there.

This is a welcoming, open environment where your colleagues are willing to support you, give advice and lift you up to achieve your goals. For the most part you have autonomy with your work, are pushed to think for innovative solutions and are trusted to get things done. I have had many opportunities to not only work on the projects I was hired to work on, but to also branch out into other areas and learn more about different projects and areas of expertise. The staff here is smart, committed and experts in their fields. You can learn a lot while working here. Another plus is that there is a daycare on site!
