      Strong ethical culture makes it easy to do the right thing Goood management communiations, transparency Good benefits and education reimbursement

      Cons

      Company avoids all risk at the expense of losing business opportunities Bureaucratic policies, programs, procedures and approvals prohibit actual work being accomplished Legal department runs the Sales department with an iron fist Short sighted management. Zero investment in the future. Management expects more from employees than possible Reporting data is priority #1 Meeting customer needs is priority #2 Bill Brown micromanages the organization to a fault. Does this president of $5 billion company really need to approval all $2000 travel request?

      Pros

      It is a great company to learn about the operation of a engineering business. Many aspects you can attack and build from.

      Cons

      Really boring corporate life. If you don't feel like you fit it probably won't last long. And I definately did not want to be in Connecticut any more.

      Unlimited opportunities to develop/advance if you're willing to move; best in class educational assistance program (study in any field you'd like regardless of applicability to current role/choose any accredited school/everything paid in full directly to the school)

      Cons

      Focus on financial returns, sometimes at the expense of employees; rewards mobility; locations away from HQ in Connecticut don't receive the same recognition/benefits/perks.
