Pros

Hard to find any sometimes. Employee Scholar Program is good, as long as you are in a department that will be flexible with your work schedule.

Cons

Very hostile and stat driven. Extreme lack of communication between departments. Training is minimal and sometimes non-existent. Pay is very low compared to similar positions elsewhere. Constantly put in positions where I am forces to lie to customers. Management doesn't understand the products or the jobs of their subordinates. Sales reps do not understand the products they are selling. HR would rather you not talk to them, period. Hiring practices are seriously shady. Overall, this company is just a series of bad decisions.

Pros

Salary and benefits are good.

Cons

This is a deeply dysfunctional organization with no clear strategy, objectives, or performance framework. The culture rewards long hours and compliance over smart, efficient work and measurable results. High performers are not valued; in fact, delivering strong outcomes often results in increased scrutiny, pressure, or being undermined rather than recognized. Despite constant messaging around alignment, senior management actively reinforces silos and discourages cross-functional alignment. Constructive feedback and solution-oriented thinking are neither welcomed nor encouraged. Challenging the status quo or proposing improvements is treated as a liability rather than a strength. Recent massive layoffs further exposed the company’s priorities, many of the employees impacted were among the strongest contributors, while those who aligned themselves closely with executive leadership remained. Advancement and job security appear to be driven more by proximity to leadership than by competence, impact, or integrity. I would strongly caution high-performing, independent thinkers against joining this organization.

Pros

For the pros, I'd say none.

Cons

-To say it's a toxic workplace would be an understatement. -If you want to know if this place is good, just look at the turnover rate which is high. Their staffing is bad, and management refuse to communicate this incompetence to higher ups, so that they won't face any reprimand. And instead cascade consequences on your daily workers. Shady. -Extreme micromanagement like I've never seen before, despite being employed in different countries and different sectors. Carrier Prague takes the cake. -Upper management have fossilized understanding of managing people, it's "my way or no way". Shady in communication, as they underhand the employees. HR is almost nonexistent despite them preaching this new care approach. -Highly recommend against choosing this place. The salaries are extremely low, and Carrier finds way to justify not giving bonuses. So if you factor in inflation, it's almost as if they are taking a cut from Your money. -If you become sick, god forbid, and it impacts your performance naturally, this gets held against you in the yearly performance review. Make it make sense. -Underhanded tactics of dealing with people. -Repulsive management.
