Pros
This company continually produces great products and has great design and marketing plan. The pay is very competitive. The core employees are respectful and knowledgeable. Their products are what is keeping this company successful.
Cons
The communication from the top is extremely poor and negative. Daily job responsibilities and company goals are not effectively communicated to the core workers and it creates a frustrating work environment. Hostile meetings and demeaning comments from upper management are the norm here. Expect a lot of very negative and non-constructive public criticism on a daily basis. This company does not work together as a whole. Each department is pitted against each other and there is constant finger pointing. Carestream does not want to listen to new ideas or proposals, they are far too immersed in the "Old Kodak mentality." I have never seen a company devalue contract workers as much as Carestream, and I'm a full-time non-contract employee. This place needs a culture change and it's not going to happen unless there is a drastic change in management.
