I have been with the company for over 11 years now, and I can say with a good degree of confidence that you would be hard pressed to find a better employer in the automotive industry. What are some of the things that job seekers want as they pursue a career? Success. A strong team environment working with people that make coming to work feel like it's not just another job, and a culture and value system that makes your work feel meaningful. Success is what we do at CarSense. Sure, it's a fast paced environment, goals are set high, and we expect excellence, but there is no better feeling than being on a winning team and looking back after a busy month and saying "yeah, it was a tough month, we dug deep, buckled down, worked together as a team, and crushed it this month." And success is celebrated. Always. We just had our annual holiday celebration and even in the current Covid environment, a great time was had by all. #Winning. Team environment? Teams can be fun, but how about when your team feels like family, where you make lifelong friendships, and coming to work is fun? There is nothing more powerful than when you get "everyone in the boat together rowing in the same direction" and CarSense excels in creating an environment where fellow associates respect one another, celebrate each other's individual accomplishments, and win together where no single contribution from an associate is considered unmeaningful. That is not just limited to our department associates, but felt from the executive team as well. How about getting a text from the president of the company on your birthday "Thanks for everything that you do, as a token of our appreciation, please take your family to dinner tonight and celebrate on us." Wow. #Floored. Lastly, culture. Culture is a popular buzz word in corporate America today; well, CarSense was so far ahead of that movement, like 20 years ahead. I felt it on my very first day with the company in 2010. And the culture is real, not just something that gets talked about and brushed under the rug. Integrity. Passion for Success. Innovation. Caring for One Another. Opportunity Thru Growth. Just to name a few. In case you forget one, you cant miss them as they are posted on the walls in every store. A strong corporate culture is great, but it's even better when you see that value system at work every single day right in front of you.
