Your positive feedback on the store managers and overall cleanliness of the facility is also appreciated. Almost all of the managers at CarShop are home-grown...it is a passion of ours to grow talent from within. We are happy to look into the concerns that you shared as well. While doing so, we would like to respectfully address a few in particular. We’d like to understand a little more about your concerns regarding wages in the sales department. In general, our sales teams share that they are very happy with their income levels and really enjoy the security of not relying solely on a commissioned sale to make money. Your description of our “Best Place to Work” surveys and awards is disappointing and a bit inaccurate. Just like reviews on Glassdoor, all associate satisfaction surveys are completely anonymous. We encourage all associates to participate, share their experiences, and above all, be honest in their reviews. We are always grateful and humbled by the amount of positive feedback submitted. If you are open to it, we’d love to dive into some of your other concerns in more detail. We often find that descriptions like you have provided are rooted in something a little more personal. Thank you for your review! Hearing that your welcome and onboarding to the team was so great is music to our ears. For CarShop, it's our chance to "Walk the Walk". We are very passionate about how special our stores (and the people in them) are, and what you've shared really nails it. The CarShop mentality puts the success of the team ahead of the individual, and removes the normal "silos" that tend to pop up...especially in the car business. You will likely find an embarrassment of riches around you in terms of resources and people that want to see you succeed. Also, we agree, the cold stinks. Two thumbs down.
