Pros

Great pay, Profit sharing is incredible and CarSense loves to hire from within. A place where they expect you to grow and give you the tools and training to do so.

Cons

Say goodbye to any kind of life outside of work. They expect you to work hard and long hours but they also will compensate you handsomely if you do all the right things. During the busy seasons it is very hard to have any kind of work/life balance.

Great post! Some associates want to be notified on their day off and some do not. I guess just let your direct manager know how you would prefer to work and we can make the adjustment. Let me know how it works out.

Work environment, enjoy coming to work everyday, concept of the business

Cons

Long hours ( which are a no brainer in this business!)

Pros

I started working at Carsense in 2003. I was hired as a Service consultant at our Chester Springs location. I had worked at traditional dealerships for years. The first real "Eye Opener" for me was the service consultants are not paid on commission. Really??????? That was a shocker for me because every other dealership I ever worked for you were paid a very low salary and was expected to "Make your Money" by selling service to customers. So for me knowing that i was being paid a nice hourly wage and I didn’t have to cringe when the customer didn’t buy the recommended services was huge. After 5 years as a successful service consultant I was promoted to Retail service Manager of our Hatfield location. After 2 years I was then promoted again to be the Inventory Manager/Buyer for Hatfield. So the pros: - Work hard and you will be noticed and rewarded - You are always expected to do the "Right thing" for customers and the company - Promoting within the company is a huge part of my success - Upper management does care for our customers and the employee’s - 401k/Profit sharing is second to none - Paid Vacations/personal days and Paid Holidays - Company outings and the company’s Christmas parties incredible!

Cons

For me personally there is none ... I love my job and I love Carsense
