Pros

Learn valuable selling principles and different systems including Salesforce that will enhance your marketability.

Cons

With recent ceo transition from previous ceo Tom Folliard, emphasis on taking care of employees has dwindled considerably and almost exclusively focused on profit thru so called “Iconic” experience. Neglect of employees starting to have a long term affect on company as a whole .

Pros

Some great co-workers. Really, that's the only pro.

Cons

CULTmax. Day 1 you'll be told you're one of the rare 2% of applicants they hire. Lie. I saw 98% of applicants get hired. Training begins and it's basically cult indoctrination. You, chosen one will fight the evils of Auto sales by working for the "good guys" at CultMax. Trues, many people enjoy the no-haggle pricing. But, the company charges thousands more per car than other places. Micromanaging is an understatement. You are under constant review. You will speak only the phrases you are told to speak. Anything more or less gets you written up. Pay? $160 per car is a joke. Do the math. Most employees end up making barely more than minimum wage. The culture and values the extolds are blatant lies.

Pros

- Can't speak for all analysts, but my team specifically had some of the smartest people I've ever worked with - Analysts are highly valued by leadership, so lots of opportunity to work on highly visible and interesting stuff - Great work-life balance (depends on team though, some are more "always on" than others) - Casual office with nice facilities (nice gym, food onsite)

Cons

- Doesn't feel like there is much potential for growth above Sr Analyst level. Very few roles at the Sr Mgr+ level and little turnover for those in those roles make it feel like if you were to reach that level in potential, they wouldn't actually have anywhere to put you. In the last couple years, they introduced the Manager level role for analysts (used to go directly from Sr Analyst to Sr Mgr) so this has semi-alleviated the problem but it still feels like there's a ceiling - Performance management is really lacking. No real visibility on how you are performing comparatively to your peers or how you are tracking towards promotion. No real goal setting or progress tracking, just kind of got a "good job" at the end of the year. Like performance management at any job though, this varies by manager. - Pay/benefits aren't up to par. Can definitely be paid to do the same job at other places in the area. - Richmond is kind of lame, especially for early/mid 20's crowd. Especially sucks that the main office is ~30 mins west of downtown
