Pros

Unlimited Vacation, ability to transfer within the company.

Cons

Everything is a big deal. Upper management likes to hide behind competencies until they are confronted with them. Senior managers tend to be self absorbed individuals who have been with CarMax for 10 plus years. No real leadership observed during my time with the company. I do not believe any of my leaders would sacrifice or make themselves uncomfortable to help an employee.

CarMax provides opportunities for advancement as well as a comfortable setting to talk to your peers and managers about advancement and overall knowledge about how to perform your best at work. We work as a team.

Cons

You must be able to multitask in a busy environment and be able to work with difficult customers.
