Pros

Relaxing work environment, a lot of opportunities with a furtune 500 company

Cons

Outdated payscale, the commission you make per car sale hasn't updated since the 90s. They can really use a more updated pay scale. / Also with the 5 day return policy you lose your commission if your customer brings their car back for any reason. Very unfair policy

Pros

My team of sales consultants was awesome, good people.

Cons

EVERYTHING ELSE! Senior managers and the regional team are so disconnected. Sales managers are the red headed step children of mid level management. We worked the longest hours, had the lowest pay, and lowest appreciation. Of a team of 3 SMs, only 2 of us did the work while the other was allowed to basically not do anything! Senior managers get away with being bullies and nothing happens to them! Sales managers are basically micro-managed to micro-manage the sales consultants. If you are a strong, capable, competent worker, this job will drive you nuts because you won't get anything for it. All while the lazy ones somehow get everything. Run away!

Pros

Good foot in the door in to used car business

Cons

Very underpaid Underappreciated position, you work sometimes upwards of 50 hours a week to sell 10 to 11 cars a month. Anytime you don’t sell cars in a two week span you get paid minimum-wage which in turn you have to pay back to the company with your commissions from the following weeks so it becomes a endless pit Underappreciated position, you work sometimes upwards of 50 hours a week to sell 10 to 11 cars a month. Anytime you don’t sell cars and a two week span you get paid minimum-wage which in turn you have to pay back to the company with your commissions from the following weeks so it becomes a endless pit of paying the company back. The commissions or so extremely smart to sell one car when the companies making billions every year. Make sure you cross Your T’s and dot your eyes because they will find any reason to let you go even when you’re a hard-working person.
