Pros

Multinational corporation to put on your CV. The contacts within the company which I have made The team in which I am, is very good at supporting each other.

Cons

Japanese mindset to business. Very long hours and working on weekends often to the simplest of tasks. Very dogmatic organisational culture. Everyone is in their place. The Japanese managers are treated like Gods High labour turn over due to staff dissatisfaction with their jobs. Love pointing fingers when something is wrong. No hesitation to fire someone.

Pros

Somewhat decent pay due to overtime Performance bonuses for managers Many different little ways to earn spiffs, giftcards, daytrips Decent Benefits Always hiring

Cons

Closed only four days per year Open Saturday and Sunday Micromanagement from higher ups People hate getting their cars worked on (you're constantly dealing with people who are in really bad moods and think it is your job to rip them off) Bonus objectives can be overly lofty depending on the store - you can have low volume low profit stores making max bonus, while your top producing people/stores are only making base pay because they aren't beating their own record setting numbers from last year. Breakneck work pace Always hiring
