Good pay and good benifeits that's about it

Cons

Understaffed most of the time causing employee's to be overworked, terrible training program, leadership of supervisors is nonexistent, during orientation you are told that maybe one out fifteen people will make it past their ninety days which is disgusting, instead of fixing the problems they would rather lose employees. Front office would rather blame production for internal issues that has nothing to do with them at all if corporate saw how the plant was ran 24/7 instead of the occasional visit they would have a different idea of the plant in all aspects

Top management talks a good talk but really just a cut-throat corporation

Pros

The company does a good job of re-invest money into the plants. Top management is treated well with stock options and good pay. They buy up other companies to expand - expansion is not due to good business practices.

Cons

After acquiring the company I worked for they ran our plant into the ground and now it's closed. Management did not understand our business and would not listen... the my way or the highway mentality and all it got them was an under-performing plant that is closing. In hindsight, the fact several customers left us after hearing our company was being acquired by Berry Plastics, saying they simply would not do business with them, should have been taken more seriously.

Large presents in the plastic industry. Good products mix.

Cons

Everyone is related to someone at Berry Plastics from the plant workers to the C level suite. The company can not get out of its own way. Very Very Top Heavy
