Unrealistic goals, immense pressure and rampant unprofessionalism

Pay was good and most people (Non executive) were awesome to work with

Cons

The pressure from corporate was intense. Daily struggles with executives on the right direction for the business. Unreasonable expectations and no shared risk. This was very much a throw you under the bus employer.

Cons

HR leadership is the worst I’ve ever seen, won’t name any names. Pay is not market competitive, they pull salary numbers out of thin air. Bonuses get lower and lower despite company sales doing the opposite. Benefits are worse than fast food and retail employers. Promotions and new jobs go to friends of leadership whether they’re qualified or not, it takes about 2 minutes to pick up on this. This is a billion dollar company that operates like a mom and pop.

The location I was at was very political. Must satisfy the status quo. They say they want to hear about issues but they really do not.
