Pros

The best aspect of working at Avaya is probably the flexibility provided with regard to working hours and annual leave. I personally have taken time off at very short notice, taken mornings off which can be worked back later and taken some un-official study time off. Managers have a relaxed attitude to this and expect that work be completed but aren't fussy about when the work is actually performed. Another positive aspect to working at Avaya is the willingness to embrace state of the art technologies and development processes. Agile methodoligies are all the rage there at the moment .

Cons

Sometimes there is a culture of secrecy within the management ranks.

Pros

Access to training, can have flexable work hours at times, good benefits, excellent team work ethics and several dynamic employees that pull together to make the impossible - possible.

Cons

Large company politics, mis communication working with some departments that causes loss in sales and more work hours for employees. Quality work/life balance can be challenging at times.
